Testimony: Best School Ever!

I spent 6 years (7-12) at Morgan Park which amounts to my most enjoyed academic experience as well as my most profound professional influence - Mr. Les McGhee. It was because of Mr. McGhee that I am now an African-American History teacher. The dignity and pride he displayed when teaching as well as the professionalism he exuded and respect he had for himself and us provided me with the example of the kind of teacher I wanted to be. Over the years, I have taught in many different high schools in different states and I have yet to see the environment duplicated that existed, and probably still exists, at Morgan Park. I am eternally grateful to have had the experience I had at MP as well as instructors like Mr. McGhee. Lastly, I have to say that my classmates contributed a great deal to my positive experience. So many of us have gone to become successes in our own right and it is due a great deal to the our experiences in high school. MUSTANG 4 LIFE!
